Have Your Grapes and Eat Them, Too: Supporting Your Local Food Culture is Satisfying and Community-Building

On October 24, Harrisonburg and the greater Shenandoah Valley community will join the country in celebrating the inaugural year of Food Day. Food Day is a national movement that advocates for healthy, sustainable, and affordable food while highlighting local products and the farmers who produce them.

Recently, HDR Promotions Manager Nicole Martorana, who serves on the planning committee for Shenandoah Valley Food Day, wrote a post for the SV Food Day blog that highlights the downtown local food scene.
