In with the new! Jon Boyz BBQ Shack is ready to serve meat-lovers and barbecue fans. This barbecue restaurant has so many options, all at great prices.
Jon and DeAnna Smith opened up shop at 56 East Wolfe Street, in the old Smokin’ Pig location next to Kline’s Dairy Bar. In addition to serving food to enjoy at one of their outdoor picnic tables in warmer weather or to take home, Jon Boyz also caters events and family functions.
“We love to feed people,” DeAnna said. Jon does the cooking while DeAnna handles the business, and together they created an all-American style BBQ restaurant.
The menu features three different types of barbecue – pork, chicken, and beef – along with sandwich choices for each type of meat, sausage sandwiches, and a kid-friendly menu with mini corn dogs, chicken tenders, and hot dogs. They also offer specials throughout the week, so check their Facebook page for the latest updates.
If you need a small treat before your meal, try a selection from the Jon Boyz starter menu. It includes onion rings, jalapeño poppers, fried pickles, fried green beans, hush puppies, and fried mushrooms. Need to pick up dinner for your family? Jon Boyz has three different “family meals,” with different options for sides, barbecue, ribs, or chicken.
Jon Boyz BBQ Shack also offers two different sauce selections – “Jon Boyz Sauce,” a sweet and tangy barbecue-based sauce and “Carolina Red,” a tomato and vinegar-based sauce.
Be sure to stop in and support this family restaurant! Jon Boyz BBQ Shack is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm for good deals and great food. For more information and a full menu, check out their website or find them on Facebook.
